I want to download one of those crash effects, but I don't know which one to use.  Which would you guys recommend?

HANDS DOWN, get your hands on CrashBak and CrashFX by Grant Bovee.  It's a payware, but it's a very inexpensive one, and it is AWESOME...
Great edit, Bob.

Perhaps I should clarify...the basic program is free, but to upgrade to pro (recommended by me), it's a few bucks...very cheap.

Thanks Hyperion.  The free part is on SimV right?  In the Mics section?

I tried the program out (free part) and when I clicked on the button in the window to activate the CrashFX free trial, a little message came up adn told me to click ok to start the five minute trial and I did.  But then another message came up saying the trial was over and for me to order the software.  What gives? ???

Send a message to grantbovee (that is his login here), he made the program, and he can probably tell you the problem. He is a really nice guy, and v.helpful.

Ditto.  Grant will help you with any problems you're encountering.  He's a rare breed.  He created the program, and put it out there, but he cares, and he'll still be around to help. ;)
