For those of you wondering if CrashBak/Crash FX is any good, or if it works, here's a screenshot I posted in the Raw Screenies forum.

Any questions? ;)
Great edit, Bob.

Isn't the trick NOT to hit the ground that hard?
And I can tell it was American, but what model?

'Twas at one point in the day an F-4U Corsair.  (Not anymore though.)

You can't really nose in, but if you do more of a rough belly landing you'll get some good ones.  (Ironically, I took the sailplane, slewed up to 2000, and turned off slew, letting me drop straight down on my gut....same result.)

Also, if you knock a wing off, you'll get a bigger blast from fuel leaking out!
Great edit, Bob.
