last arrcab question

Postby Tequila Sunrise » Fri Jul 18, 2003 4:43 pm

I downloaded the HMNZS Waikato but the AI don't fly, I've seen them flying in screenshots and the read-me says that there should be E-2s, F/A-18s and A-4s, but all I get are 3 F/A-18s on deck and one E-2, but the should be an aircraft below deck shouldn't there ???.
Put simply, how do you activate the AI aircraft?

Dumb question Craig, but have you checked your settings for AI aircraft? And scenery?

Fair one. Just I know I can be that daft, irrespective of IQ, I'll atke a look at mine later (gotta go teach this morning), and I'll get back to you hopefully with a solution.

Craig I deliberately re-installed the whole carrier from scratch. The only thing that I can suggest is do a re-install, follow the instructions exactly, and if necessary try the below;
Check the dynamic scenery on the fs2002 menu Options- Settings-Display and set Dynamic Scenery slider to maximum...e.g. extremely dense (like some of my students!)
If that doesn't work then you might have to copy the aircraft carrier scenery textures into the main Fs2002/texture directory.

Oh and this is me back on deck in my trusty Seafire III after catching the 2 wire I still ended up half-way along the deck. Better check the cable settings ::)
