FSUIPC Help

Postby Scottler » Fri Jul 18, 2003 9:13 pm

I read hear earlier that I can use FSUIPC to assign reverse thrust to my throttle quadrant.  Can anyone talk me through this a little slower?  I'm a simple boy.  Thanks!
Great edit, Bob.

Why don't you use the keyboard assignment for reverse thrust? Or edit it so one of the buttons on your joystick does it?

Ozzy-That's what I was originally going to do.  (The F2 button is fine til you're flying in a dark room. lol)

But then someone said instead of assigning it to a button, why not put it on the throttle itself, just for some added realism, and I got excited about it.  lol

Hyperion,

Let me try explain what I meant again (last time was about 02:30AM lol)

In your FSUIPC go to "Joysticks",click on the right arrow till you get to "3 of 7:Seperate Throttles Per Engine".You'll see "Reverse","Idle" and "Max" with "Set" under each one.Move your throttle all the way back and click on "Set" under "Reverse".Move it forward, about a third of the way open, and click "Set" under "Idle".Then move it to the full open position und click "Set" under "Max".Then just say "OK".You should then have reverse thrust.

Hmmm....that's what I thought you meant, and what I did...but I didn't get reverse thrusters on it.  Weird....I'll toy with it some more later on.  Thanks!
