Flummoxed by Falcon

OK, so shift-L does, indeed, raise the stairs. But for some reason I can't get the plane to take off. Full throttle and the entire runway -- still on the ground headed for the trees. What gives? Does it have something to do with the fact that gauges are missing? The full and light versions both have the problem.

Flaps might work.

this plane does have a problem on taking off :P :P

it's more related to TRIM than flaps or anything else  ::)

try setting your elevator trim so that the plane pulls UP on takeoff

this happens because the trim is NOT set to neutral when you load this particular aircraft
the plane tends to pul itself DOWN when rolling down the runway :P

if the runway is long enough, you might be able to pull it up without correcting the pitch trim ::)

i have set two of my joystick buttons to control the pitch trim, so i can easily keep it at neutral (it varies depending on your airspeed)

you're talking about the Flacon 50 by Yannick Lavigne, right? ;D

Did you get the patch? Patch 2, fixes that problem.

Just extract the files from the patch to the main fs directory.

Any more questions, I'm your man. Ask away.

Hi Jesster,

I downloaded the patch but wasn't sure where to put it. I extracted it into my downloads folder on the desktop. The file has two folders: aircraft and gauges. I put the file into the Falcon folder in "aircraft." Is that the correct procedure? Also, for some reason I have a Fal50caea2 and a Fal50caea2.0 in "aircraft." One other thing, while I'm at it -- gauges are missing on the panel (including AP). Thanks.

p.s. Yes, it's Yannick's Falcon 50.

Update: The trim helped with the take-off. Thanks! Now it's just a matter of figuring out the missing gauges. etc.

I you just unstall the falcon50caea2002
and the patch2
you can found on
http://www.simviation.com/fs2002jets15.htm
the aircraft is nomal with all his gauges. but don't install the panel patch you will found in panel download because it will screw up your 737 panel
so you install the
FS2002pro - Falcon 50 CAEA version 2002 -

and

Final update:

and it will work like the real. maike sure to overwirte all files because the origila aircraft.cfg put a take off speed too high
