Gauges

Postby tjcfv » Sun Jul 06, 2003 9:09 pm

I'm VERY new to all of this... so be kind. I'm just learning how to add new planes to FS2002 and that's not too difficult. Is there somewhere on this sight that explains what each gauge in a panel represents? i.e. the panel in a FA18 for instance? It would be a big help in my learning curve.  ???

Hi and welcome.

Your basic gauges are covered in the Lessons section of your FS 2002 program. Also, check here for most anything you'd have a queston on.

I'm finding myself wondering if he didn't mean the file names for the gauges.  The reason I think this might have been the intention was because he (okay.../she) mentions installing aircraft right before the question.

Maybe they'll clarify it for us so we can be of more assistance.

PS.  I'm wrong quite often.
Great edit, Bob.

Ya know, reading it again, I think he's having trouble understanding how the advanced panel in his F-18 works. There's probably an MFD, or somthing, that the author didn't supply instructions for.

We've all been up that taxiway!   ;D

Yes...you're correct just trying to actually understand what each gauge is for. Some are fairly obvious but others aren't. I'll see if maybe the author of the panel has something. Thanks.

Hi again....if you don't find any help from the author, send me an email at operations@hyperion.tk and I'll see if I can help you any.  (You'll probably have to include a screenshot of the cockpit or at least the gauges in question.)
Great edit, Bob.
