CHINA STATION

Postby packercolinl » Fri Jul 04, 2003 6:37 am

I seem to be taking some serious gust hits in China on landing when the weather report shows no gusts.
The reporting stations aren't prolific and I wonder if this may also apply to the South Pacific Anomaly where FS just doesn't cover the goods.
Cheers

Red on White you're alright.

Apart from the weather aspect I'd like to know if anyone has flown up the Yangtze River.
I'm at Wuhan at the moment and apart from 2+ hours direct to the next Chinese airport I'm into a change of aircraft(bush flying) and no nav aids if I want to go further.
Its got to be a floatplane, I can't see any other way.
Cheers

The sim will remember the last station... if that was gusty, it's gusty until you go into another zone.

And FYI: china is big and empty... you can search for addons, but they are sparse.
Somewhere on the net is a Lhasa scenery, on a chinese site
