Sorry, that's a bug in the flightsimulator, although some helos are already programmed to pause the simulator to work the landing gear

No, it's not a bug in flight simulator.

The helicopter is only meant to replicate a Bell Model 206b Jet Ranger III....period! As we all know, a 206b has skids for landing gear.

Yes, I know folding gear worked in FS98 and FS2000. Strictly a fluke which was corrected when they updated the sim engine for FS2002.

Don't be surprised if folding gear doesn't work in FS2004 because both default helicopters are on skids.

Mind you, I'd like see them enable it.
