Postby xinmayu » Thu Jun 12, 2003 10:25 pm

i am currently using Celeron 1.2G, 256MB ram, and 64MB video card. When i turn FS2002 to the best qulity, the pictures always freeze a second when i land and when i change view. Can u guys give me recommandation about upgrading my hardwares? Ram or video card, which one is more important?

When going for quality in any game, do not sell yourself short.  Always try to get the best that is compatible with your machine.  You may find you are spending a lot of money, but it will be worth it in the end.  This way you won't have to upgrade so often.

You may also wish to download a graphics card tweak program called Riva Tuner. This handy little utility can get good preformance out of any card without over clocking. Get it at www.guru3d.com

I would say go for the RAM too....if you have a 64 meg card that can be tweaked, then you will probably see an improvement by going to 512 megs of ram.....depending on your OS of course......you will need XP to utilize more ram than 512.....
