I filed a flight plan, low altitude routes, between an unkown city and Cape Town in South Africa, about 3/400nm apart.

Did you correctly upload your images?

Did you type the URL in correctly? The forums are case sensative ;)

i found that problem before. i wanted a high altitude flight plan from gatwick to detroit, it took me from gatwick to south africa to brazil then upto detroit. i really wasnt going to fly that thank you very much:)

I'll try that Andrew.  I just use direct GPS anyway.

I once wanted a flight plan to take me from St just to St Marys (direct about 30miles) and FS wanted to take me to bloody american first! :o

As aviation fuel is free in FS2002 they just want you to make the most of it.. ;D

VOR to VOR routes always seem to do that.  ???

Not really the most economical way to run an airline. Direct-GPS is more beliveable.
