There is a little camp just below the summit of Mount Everest, you can see screenshots at my website.

That must be from some kind of add-on, because it isn't there in my copy of the game.  I'm sure it was Everest, too, because I checked the lat and long and it was also the same mountain you have in your picture on your web site.

For those wondering when the fireworks go off in Las Vegas, I think it is 10:00 p.m nightly, and 12:00 a.m. New Years Day.  I noticed them going off when I loaded one of the helo adventures where you get to take a "film crew" on a flight down the street.I checked the game time, and it showed 10 p.m.

I'm almost to las vegas now on my round the world flight and I was wondering if there was a way to set auto pilot to let you circle an area. I want to circle las vegas and take pictures and not worry about flying the plane.

Put it into a turn, set the elevator trim so you dont have to apply pressure, and you should be set... at least thats how it works when Im flying for real.

I guess it all depends on what your flying... in a 172, 30 degrees is about right so they plane wont roll out or try to bank any further. Your speed will set the radius.

Set you GPS to go to klas, set yourself to the GPS setting, set your alt and speed. You plane will circle around the airport for as long as you want

Another hidden suprise I found:

I was flying from Martin State Apt in Baltimore MD to Delaware Mun. just outside of Columbus, OH and while pass through southwestern Pennsylvania, I encountered lightning. Just something I havent seen on here before.

Whiskey, I never found any scenery add-ons specific to Mount Everest, I don't know where the camp would have come from, but I have added so much stuff to my sim that it would be hard to tell anymore.

You can set your weather for thunderstorms and see lightening easily.  And it is pretty good looking too.

Yeah, the lightning is mega-cool. I downloaded some replacement thunder sounds from avsim a while ago, and they make it even better. I was fiddling with the radios and I heard a loud crack sound, jumped, and didn't understand what was happening until I realized I was in the middle of a thunderstorm!

That happened to me about a year ago. Problem was I wasn't flying a flight sim and the computer was junk afterward.  :o :o :'( :'(
