Under normal circumstances, I rarely bother with fighters. However, this package is exceptional. The quality of the graphics is just outstanding.

Thoroughly recommended and for what it's worth, I think it's extremely generous of David Brice and his team to offer this as freeware.

I know David stated early on in the project that it was going to be free because he didn't have the time to devote to bring it to payware standard, but I suspect that changed along the way.

I'm sure that at that point he didn't anticipate it taking 7 months to develop, or that it would end up with the level of quality that it has. It is without question easily payware quality and, in my opinion, way above some of the other payware fighter packages I've looked at.

Hat's off to DSB.

ok... go to the 'Aircraft' folder and make a new folder within it and call it typhoon or something... then drag all of the files in the unzipped DL to it... then bring all the gauges into the folder called 'gauges' and reanme the sound file to typhoon or something like that and make a copy of it in the sound folder

Got it downloaded last night but I didn't get a chance to fly it until today because of storms in the area (real ones that fry computers).  Might just be my Joystick but with those handling characteristics I had to turn off FF. It kept rocking back and forth from side to side. Without FF it flies OK. Fighters are always a trade off between stability and maneuverability but with a touchy joystick it's just too much on the unstable side.

highspeed stall. the angle of the leading edge cutting into the wing is to great to allow for lift to be created....
