Default static aircraft question

Postby Adrian Testani » Fri May 16, 2003 12:35 pm

Sorry but I'm an old FS98 user and new to 2002 world.  Every time I add 3rd part scenery....the default static aircraft keep showing up in the new scenery.  Are these considered AI aircraft?  I thought by keeping my "dynamic aircraft" off and the "scenery complexity" low, I could avoid them but they just keep showing up!  WHAT am I doing wrong...ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

I think there's still flight plans still attached to those aircraft. You would need something like TrafficTools to edit or disable the flightplans and/or, if you wanted to go a step further, you could use AFCAD to remove the aircraft, altogether. But, remember to backup anything you change, before you change it.
