(Hi Tipster, how's that B-52 panel coming along?)
Well the panel itself is, as of today, started from scratch.
That might seem like bad news, but it isn't. The reason is that I'm having to re-do the bitmaps as I've finally got the views engine working! (Major "YAY" from me!

)
I don't know if everyone is going to like the way this works, but I love it LOL.
Brief description:
For those of you that had FLY!, you've seen it already - sort of. It differs in that there's no animated scrolling of the view, but uses the same method for changing views, i.e. when the mouse is located at the top/bottom/left/right of the current view, an arrow appears and you click it to change view. The views themselves are not full screen changes though in most cases. For example, clicking the up arrow whilst in normal front mode, moves the view so that the view out of the windshield occupies the bottom half of the screen whilst the full overhead panel (as opposed to the partial on display in the main screen) occupies the top view.
Other advantages to this system are the ability to open the cabin and other doors (whether modelled in the aircraft or not) from the inside using a handle/switch on the door. Obviously if the plane doesn't have a working exit modelled this view is only available from the inside.
The possibilities with this are endless.
Work progresses...
