thats an easy one. When you go to make a flight plan and choose the starting  airport, look down to the bottem left side of the screen. That will show your starting point. Just choose a gate

I've tried using the 1 & 2 buttons to turn, but can't seem to get it right.  The first time I used a push back, I could turn somewhat.  Other times, it acted like it would turn for me.  I.e. I wouldn't press a thing, but my aircraft would turn and be lined up for me.  Is it like the exits, where you press shift+p then 1 or 2 right after to start the turn?

I use the top row numbers and keep it in the same view and try turning repeatedly well after the plane travels its own length.  Still, my game doesn't like to turn them.  And last night, it would turn a bit and then stop turning.  Then I couldn't get it to turn again.
