[quote]while I never speed up the sim myself, I do admit that when on a long VFR flight with the autopilot on I do leave on ocassion to bake a cake, watch some hoops or clean the apt a little.

I'd be really sick if I was in here and I went back to see the Baron buried in the side of a mountain because I wasn't paying attention LOL.

Was directed at me??!! LOL  ;D ;D ;D
I learned a valuable lesson on Leg 3 of my trip...

I can GAURANTEE that will never happen again... ::) ;D ;)

I have to admit that when I was doing my own RTW tour, last Christmas, one of the legs was from Moscow to Beijing. Does anyone know how desolate the landscape is in that area??? It looks like Microsoft just left a big flat blank spot in the scenery. I had to jump to 4x sim speed, because I just couldn't spend the time like that. I made up for it on the Beijing to Honolulu leg. Blue water and blue sky. That's it. But I did it in real time.

Needless to say, I haven't been on a jaunt like that since. Maybe someday.  ;)
