Beechcraft Duchess

Postby BE58D » Thu May 01, 2003 5:30 pm

Would you download a high quality Beechcraft Duchess made for FS2002? I am getting ready to start my first project with FSDS2 (first since the original FSDS) and want to know if this is something others would be interested in.

Here's a site that shows one.

I wouldn't mind having one. With only one light twin (Baron) that's an area where FS2002 is lacking.

I also found this while looking for pictures:

The answer is pretty obvious BE!!

Though who would bother to vote 'no' is beyond me.  ::) Not because everyone will want it (there is NO download everyone wants) but actually taking the time to click no!!!  ::)

I guarantee you'll have a good reception with even a basic Dutchess.

Though I would ask this --- why would whether people wanted it or not influence your decision?

If you put it out there I doubt it will be overlooked. :)

I think Pete is right. I have not voted either way as I have no interest in this type of aircraft. What I have never understood is why this would influence your or any other amateur designer's decision to go right ahead & do it?  ???

In my experience most FS designers create stuff they have a particular affection for. The main motive is for their own enjoyment & satisfaction. I suggest you make an immediate start. If it turns out as you hope it can then be uploaded for others to enjoy. ;)

Yeah i've seen that, its a nicely done model. Well worth the download. Mine has been put off a bit due to 4 other projects that i have been doing/helping on.

Why you ask? Because there are a lot of G.A. aircraft that people want, and no one has built.  I myself prefer G.A. over airliners and military, so I am looking at those that haven't been made and finding out if they are something others would want.

You do know that this will mean I will probably asking a lot of stupid questions in the design forum. ;)
