VQ-1 Super COnstellation (no tank)

Postby lost sailor » Thu Apr 24, 2003 8:25 pm

Rick Wooton -- What's up with this airplane? it overstresses no matter how I try to get up in the air, full flaps lower speed, no flaps higher speed, as soon as it gets around fifty or so feet in the air -- Aircraft overstressed even with vertical speeda of only 100fpm -- nice panel, nice sound but did you test it??  ??? (runin' winxp here)

Lew the aircraft stress thing in 2k2 is rubbish. Turn it off! Aircraft are far to sensitive to this, especially add-ons. I've had the su-29 fail in minutes before.

I dunno - my Connie made it through 2 rolls, 3 HARD turns and a loop before it broke up.   ;D

This post sure got buried -- I finally found it -- well this is the first one in hundreds of downloads and mods that crapped out like this -- with the realism set at max -- I took the connie out of the "hangar" for now -- maybe I will mess around with it -- Ozzy, did you ever find out what caused the su-29 to fail ??

the fact that the .AIR G-tolerance still overrides the one set in the .CFG

Lew I'm not sure, I was practising an aerobatic routine I was working on (well within limits), and she just died in mid-air..... Never figured it out!

HEY LEW,see my earlier thread"NEW CONNIE"I love this plane,Ive put 200 hrs&a quarter million miles on mine so far,and the only thing Ive found wrong is it tends to overspeed-but dont all beautifull women with giant turbocompound radial breasts!!! 8)
To bad I cant make a living out of this, but it would probably kill me.
