Trouble "parking the plane in the air"

 hey all

   i always do IFR's and i cant stay at like 10,000 feet or what ever the plan is.  i dont know how to level the plane off and keep it there. some help would be thankful. and also   what does flight level mean     like when they say climb to FL190

Use your autopilot to maintain height. Set 10000 in altitude box and click alt, then click ap. FL190 means 19000 feet, FL230=23000 feet etc. Suggest you go to training flights in game for experience.

You can run Altitude only using the autopilot.

The problem lies in the fact that the FS2002 automatically engages wing leveller when you turn it on.

To avoid this happening, add the following lines to the aircraft.cfg:

use_no_default_pitch = 1 // 0 = Default to current pitch mode, 1 = No default pitch mode.
use_no_default_bank = 1 // 0 = Default to Wing Leveler mode, 1 = No default bank mode.
