HI,what Ive done is wire the audio output of my PC into my home theater 200 watt surround sound amp,AND ITS AWESOME!!! Im still tweaking,so Ill get back here soon!

Nice, what system have you got.
My parents have a Yamaha 5.1 system, I think it's about 500W. It has Two Keff speakers and three Paradigm speakers with a Paradigm sub woffer.

I personally own an old Harmon/Kardon 2.1 system with Koss speakers. My dad's a music freak and won't settle for anything less than the best, which explains why I have his old H/K system.

Yeah Phil, that would be great.  I would really like to know how its done, (not being that great at hooking up systems) but I have a surround sound system, 5.1 and would love to try it out if I have the proper input/output jacks (or whatever)  It has to be awesome sound!!!!

The hookup was quite easy.I simply took a tee connector to plug into the pc`s speaker jack,in one sideI reconnected the existing pc speakers,then routed the other side,with a patch cable,into another tee to plug into the"CD" input port of the surround sound amp.(I dont have a disc changer yet)The pc`s output is1/8 phono and the sound amp`s inputs are RCA type,so a couple adapters were needed,but nothing difficult at all.Heres the beauty;My computer,audio gear,tv,and ham radio equipment are all here with me in a rather small room-15x20 ft.(my place of self imposed exile) so with the volume cranked up,the effects are UN-BELIEVABLE! I have the engine sounds comming out of two large rear speakers,ATC out of two smaller front ones-hell,the sub woofer even gives a good thump on gear lock up/down! I dont know why I dident think of this sooner,but Im here to say that this makes the flght sim experience mutch closer to "as real as it gets! Now if could come up with a way to bump my big leather captains chair around in turbulence,etc! You know,I did see an actual F4-Phantom ejection seat for sale on ebay once,Hmmmmm (Id have to re-program"wife simulator" to accept this!)

I forgot to mention,its not a fancy system at all,just an on sale Radio Shack special-but it works!!

That sounds fairly easy then, I must get some tee connectors on Tuesday and start workin' on it.  It sounds really awesome.  My place is about the same size and its an RCA 200 Watt system, I will just have to move a few speakers around for positioning, I have a 8 speaker system with a Merak MS885 subwoofer system and my video card has a TV output as well.  Geez, cant wait to try it out now.  You only have to re-program a wife-simulator, I have to re-program the real wife, especially with the computer I am having built  lol  Thanks, very much appreciated, Phil

Hmmm... or you can buy a Philips Sound Card for $30, and it features front and rear outputs (and it is darn nice card for $30) and then get a set of surround sound speakers for about $60.

My system consists of CREATIVE speakers (4.1) that cost me $60 and they are front and rear speakers, and then the Philips sounds card that was $30 and it offers front and rear inputs.

For the price... is sounds very nice!

How did you split the channels to get certain sounds comming out of certain speakers. As far as I know, FS2002 has only 2.1 stereo sound.

With ALOT of trial & error in the amps effects menu. I found "theater 2" and proper ballancing of each speaker renders the most cockpit like environment
