Just did my best landing. It was a small airport in Indonesia in the dark no lighting or ILS. I set up FSNavigator to bring me in on the approach (an idea I got from someone here on the forum but I forget who) with one waypoint about 5 miles out at 2,500 ft and another at the end of the runway at 10 ft.  I was just about to wave it off and divert to another airport with an ILS when I saw the runway in my landing lights so I disengaged the AP and flared for a perfect touchdown.  8)

Who says you can't do GPS approaches in FS2002? Worked like a charm.

Way back in CFS-1! Flying an fighter intercept in one of the Battle Of Britain missions, and got involved in a furball with Me-109s. I got a couple, but was badly shot up, with my plane leaning over to port, and I had to fly with the stick way over starboard to fly level. My landing gear was also inoperable! Managed to glide it in back to base, and carried out what looked like a perfect crash-landing with no gear! Really enjoyed that! ;)
Nothing is ever so bad that it cant get a little bit worse...

I watch the local turboprop guys turn in on final right on the threshold and think,'I can do that!'
So I do it in the KingAir and then realise the scraping sound was the wingtip scraping the ground as I turn on final.  ::)
White on White fly all night.

Red on White you're alright.

Red on Red you'll soon be dead.
