SPARKS ON WATER LANDING- - -

Postby rajah » Mon Apr 14, 2003 4:10 am

I TRIED TO ENHANCE THE WAKE ON MY LAKE RENEGADE 270 BY ALTERING THE AIRCRAFT CFG .(EFFECTS), BY PUTTING IN A WATERLAND EFFECT.
BIG MISTAKE!!!
NOT ONLY DOES THE LAKE CREATE SPARKS ON TOUCHDOWN ON WATER, BUT SO DO SOME OF MY OTHER AMPHIBIANS.
ONE ACTUALLY SUBMERGES.
I PASTED BACK IN THE ORIGINAL LAKE (EFFECT), BUT STILL GOT THE SAME PROBLEMS.
PLEASE, CAN ANY OF YOU EXPERIENCED SIMMERS PUT ME RIGHT!!
THANKS.

All I can suggest is re-installing the aircraft. If it's a fs2002 plane, just search the CD for the cab containing the aircraft. If it's a download, re-install it from the zip if you have it still, or re-download it

Also, you might want to apologize to all the firms who's planes you have ruined lol  ;)

;DI remember having a similar problem once, with the waterland effect.  I decided to take it out, and forgot to take out the (/) "forward slash" which disabled the original wake effect.    I didnt paste tho' I changed  everything manually.  Maybe pasting put in the / but didnt take it out?  After I remembered and took it out everything went back to normal.  Maybe? ;D ;D ;D

Rajah, you'll have to re-install the aircraft. Sorry.
However there are some improved water effects available here that you can add, just have a look in the downloads section ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
