Saddam - Baghdad Question

Postby Matt Torcellini » Mon Apr 07, 2003 1:04 pm

I've got a question.

Is there a way I can change the airport name Saddam Intl. to Baghdad Intl.?

And what about the ATC that actually says "Saddam International"?

Yes...a little program called AFCAD will allow you to do this. ;)
Get it in the 'Essentials and Must Haves' section of Simviation.com . :)

Afcad wil change the name and info of the airport, but I don't think it will change what ATC calls it, unless it recognizes the name Bagdad.  It could be possible because there is a Bagdad departure/approach.  Well, good luck with that....

What do you mean get a life.  We are all simmers here.  We have no life other than Flightsim....

Don't be an A-hole, just because some of us want to keep up with current events and rename our airports to what ever we wish.  That is what we call freedom, BABY!  And that is what the Iraqies are experiencing today, FREEDOM!

God bless America, and all of the freedom-peace loving people throught the world....

Right guys, well some of you should know better. No political commentary on the current war on the forums. I'm locking this off.
