I love it. As soon as I get my g/card probs sorted, I'll download it. You seem to have everything just right, such as the right amount of reflectivity on the "shiney bits". Not many get this right.

Johnathon,
'Newest files' section in the SimV downloads.

Ric,
Great job! I already have good 757 sounds and custom panels so this completes the package. Thanks again.

Where did you get the great mountain scenery forBoeing Field? It's not the default (is it?!)

Thanks!

Awsome job but I am getting awful framerates!. I have got a high end PC including TI 4600, 1 GB DDR RAM and P4 2.8. I get on average of 9-12 FPS.
THis problem is not happening on anything else I have ever used. I get 25-30 FPS with FlightCraft A340 and that is a much more sopisticated model!.
It is such a nice plane you have made but is there any way you could reduce the polys to make it more 'playable'.

Thankyou!, carry on the great work.

Peter,

I'm aware that it's avery high poly model - it's explained in the readme file.

As for making a low poly version, that requires a complete redesign, so it's not something I have the time to do.

However, having said that, my computer specs are similar to yours, and I get 30-45 fps all the time.

I would make sure you check you have DX9 and 40.72 nVidia drivers - these seem to work bect in FS2K2 (for me anyway).

This is the first message I've got about poor framerates, (I thought I was going to get alot, I got 602 emails today!) but it doesn't seem to be that much of a problem for most users, most with a lower-end PC than yours. I would reccomend making sure you have all your setting optimized for FS.

Try http://www.guru3d.com and http://www.futuremark.com for help and tips.

Hope that's of some use to you.
