After installing a MD-90 inti FS 2002 I wanted to give it a call sign diffrent to the default ones already in there (Landmark, Soar ect).

Can anyone help me with this??

:)In order to change a callsign you must open the aircraft.cfg file with an editor, such as notepad. Scroll down to the section:
 atc_heavy=0
atc_airline=(Add Airline Name)
atc_flight_number=(Put in , if applicable)
Next you would go to the aircraft main folder and find the file Airlines.cfg file and open it with an editor and add you airline to the list.
 This will get it to show up in the visual part of the ATC window of FS2002. If the name is not audibly givwn then you would have to get a program called Editvoicepack, which would enable you to add the audible name to your list.
 Hope this wasn't to confusing. :)

There's a file available here at Simviation, I think one of the early Misc files for FS2002, that adds all of the common airlines to your airline directory, so they become audible, and "United" actually sounds like "United", and not " --- " or whatever happens when you put an airlines not in your directory..

Sorry, I don't know the exact page ^__^;
Keep out of IMC in VFR,

Search for editvoicepack  2 - it adds a whole wealth of call-signs and allows you to make your own. (freeware)
