EXTRA: Inverted Flat Spin

Aight,  I been trying to put this bad boy into a inverted flat spin manuver, but cant.  Has anyone been able to do this in an Extra or Zinn?

I can, but it took a lot of practice.
Make sure all realism settings are max and the auto rudder is off. You should then be able to do it.
Remember the extra is v.twitchy.

The SF260 made by RealAir.com is the best for spins etc.
Just my opinion.

As Ozzy says... Yes, it can be done... it isn't easy either, I think are really only probably a few that can fly the Extra proficiently... as it is a bit of a squirrel.

The easiest plane to perfect spins on is the MkV Spitfire here in the vintage pages. It has lovely stall characteristics, just a slight dip of the wing as she goes. Great for spin practice.

Ozzy, all my realism restting are maxed with "Autorudder" off.  What are your techniques.  Mine is to enter a vertical climb with the engine at idle and the stick way back to induce a stall.  Once the stall in induced, I will kick it on its back, apply full rudder, and enought opposite elevator to keep the ball in the middle.  The reason I apply opposite elevator is to flat on it back, but I can only succed at most two spin before the plane with barral-roll upright into a upright spin stall.  My goal is to do about a dozen.  

Yeah you are right, the Extra is very unstable, but that is why it such an agile areobatic plane.  I'll look into some of the other plane suggested as well.

With the Extra (and in real life) you should initiate the spin just before the stall, otherwise you'll wingover, especially in the Extra it just falls to port violently.
Try the SU-29 in props here, that's nearly as wobbly, but slightly better characteristics for stalling I find.

Make sure you have PLENTY of fresh air underneath you. It can take a couple of revolutions to recover properly.
