[quote]For a guy who just recorded one of the highest single-hole scores in PGA TOUR history, Kevin Na was pretty upbeat. At least as upbeat as someone in his situation could be.

Daly's 18 at JDC's fourth hole lowered by PGA

John Daly posted an unoffical score of 18 on the fourth hole at TPC Deere Run, but PGA Tour officials reviewed the situation and changed it. We are getting conflicting reports as to whether it was lowered to an 11 or a 13.

The media center shows 13, but the PGA Tour website shows 11. Either way, Daly sits near the bottom of the leaderboard and his weekend in the Quad-Cities is over.

Had the 18 stuck, it would have matched the highest one-hole score on the PGA Tour since 1983.

That also was shot by Daly, at the 1998 Bay Hill Invitational ...

Someone is dumb enough to pay him to play.
