The only good thing was Olivia Wilde

lol? :-?

Having greatly enjoyed the original, (with its graphics simplicity), the sequel was a big disappointment for me, and was just an excuse to generate some new, fancy CGI effects, just for the sake of it

Are you sure it's not a jaws effect :P

I find, over the years, that modern action films rely more on showing off the latest, fancy, CGI graphics, rather than producing a good, entertaining story line.
I find I quickly lose patience with many of the latest film offerings, and generally switch off, and do something else, (go to sleep)!
The story line, whatever it is? quickly becomes lost in a confusing mass/mess of CGI Graphics just to amuse the Film Director!
As a typical example, I find films like; "The Matrix"... :o.... totally confusing, even after my young friends trying to justify, and explain to me, the overly complicated, highly unlikely story line!... :-/...(there's a recipe for an argument!).... ;D!
I enjoy a good, well written, well directed, simple, easily understandable, entertaining; "story line" to keep me welded to the screen.
The original; "Tron" had a good/excellent story, and well designed computer graphics to match the subject...nothing more to spoil it!
Overly-fancy, film CGI graphics should be relegated to animated cartoons!... ;)...!

Paul...a bit of a critic, regarding some of the latest films!... ;)... ;D...!

I agree Paul, a well written, directed and acted film is worth it everytime.
Hollywood do still do it from time to time, Gladiator was superb and deserved every Oscar it won. I have to say watching Tron get trashed is almost as painful as watching George Lucas's prequels to Star Wars. I mean what is that Jar Jar thing?
I think I'll watch Where Eagles Dare tonight, well acted, well directed and a crackin' story 8-)

Do you know this one Mark, Operation Daybreak. A really good WWII film, not many have heard of it.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

And People call me immature when I like cartoons >:(.
That's exactly why.
If your going to do a Movie, You might as well get your facts right
E.g In the new(est) green arrow movie they say the service ceiling is 50,000 ft Actually it's 60,000. And anyway even if it did go above the Ceiling it wouldn't stall From what I understand It would just be hard for it to maintain altitude. I may be wrong though :P :-/.
But my mum always says, If you want facts, Read an encyclopaedia. Tv is for entertainment :P :P ::)
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.
