My number one favorite film is "The Hunt for Red October," although my top 20 are all pretty close.

I've lost count of all the times I've seen Apollo 13. That's a great movie.

For an animated movie, that is really good.

Strange when asked about "favourite movie" - singlular - that there are so many responses with a list of more than just one......

I'd have to go with "The Great Escape".......so many stars......so much situational comedy.......so much fun ! ! !

If I had to narrow it down to just one, Twister. But there are so, so many. Almost all the old WWII movies that aired on TV in the late fifties early sixties, especially the naval ones, with Strategic Air Command probably at the top of the list.

The Enemy Below ---- classic battle of "wits"
Islands In The Sky --- excellent character study flick!
Strategic Air Command -- best air sequences!
Twelve o'Clock High --- 'nother good character study flick!

As far as all out realism, nothing beats Saving Private Ryan!  The first time I saw it I realized I hadn't breathed for the first 20 minutes!  I was literally transfixed!  (My uncle earned a Siver Star w/clusters on Normandy!)
