Just went to see it last night and it's earthshaking good. HD capture, VERY close to the action and about the very best representation of the 30's I've ever seen. Sparkled my interest for that period again, so stylish.
I've always liked to see Johhny Depp act in movies and this one is fantastic. Just like Heat and Miami Vice, Michael Mann sure knows how to portray action and take you in the middle of it.
Wonderful. Go see it if you want to see a god gangster movie.
