A new series call the Pacific, check it out!

Out of topic but good news for of us interested in WW2. HBO is comming out with a follow up series to Band of Brother. I have seen that series several time. Now they are doing one on the Pacific Theater. Here is the trailer.

Heard about this several years back. Have always wondered when it would hit our tv screens. Looking good though. I know it's different to Band of Brothers in the way that it looks at life outside the battlefield i.e at home, but I'm hoping that won't put me off. That's what fascinated me a lot about Band of Brothers. It was only about the soldiers, nothing else.

Other than that, it should be great anyway  :)

Hope its the same quality... they re-used a lot of the 'saving private ryan' set for BoB
