Stand by me

Postby Steve M » Sun Mar 22, 2009 10:20 am

This is a composite of musicians around the world singing one of my old favorites, "Stand by me". First released in 1955 by the Staple Singers and again in 1961 by the Drifters. This is a different take on it and a toe tapper for sure!

PS I wasn't sure if this should be in video forum.

'Stand By Me' is truly one of the great soul tunes from long ago, and that video is just really far out!

Great video. Got me smilin' and toe tappin', not to mention thinking about putting flying on hold and getting out my guitar. I especially liked Grandpa Elliott. If I let my beard grow and got me a hat like that, I'd look like a white version of him. Thanks for posting it.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
