Richard Wright, the keyboard player and founder member of Pink Floyd has died today:

Sad day indeed... Rick was (is) my true idol, and his music, together with PFs, have inspirated me and my band a lot. He was a true genius.

I was watching "Live at Pompeii" DVD just when they told me abou this terrible news!

This is news to me just now, I read the article, very sad indeed.  Another great musician gone.  Richard Wright's and Pink Floyd's contributions to the music scene were immeasurable.
