Looked like a marvelous silly man. I'm not familiar with his work ( I'm not that keen on jazz), but he looked like a true gentleman-performer.

I remember when I heard Bad Penny Blues in the 1950's, for the first time, at the same time that I was singing and playing Lonnie Donnegan tunes on my acoustic Guitar... :o...!... ;D...!

Strange musical times!..;)...!

They all had a big effect on my musical styles, then and since!... :)...!

Can't 'elp but edit 'ere. Truly sounds like he's saying Colonel Patton in Battle of New Orleans -- it was Colonel Jackson. No wonder the Brits lost -- had no idea who was who...
