Ah, forgot about the fact that Desmond got to the island another way, not on flight 815. Anyway, Ben has been off of the island. Remember when Miles (the asian guy from the freighter) showed a picture of Ben and said "we're here to find Benjamin Linus"? He was pictured on a busy street somewhere. ;)

Yuck.

I wrote a 3 page, 1.5k essay on why the pilot episode of Lost was really boring. My aircrafting-type buddy and I were going mad at all the crash impossibilities when we were watching it in English. It is just too OTT and too unrealistic (trying to act realistic) for me to like.

I cant believe they brought out a game of it...

Yeah, I loved the guy getting sucked into the low revving, somehow still running jet engine...  ::)

As for Ben being on a busy street, it could be in the future...  ;)

Yeh... with no fuel supply too..

What was being used to get the Lockheed L-1011's engine spinning any way? No starter could get it spinning that fast....

Drove me to distraction (now there is a good TV show)

I forgot all about this thread. It now looks like Sun is one of the Oceanic six also. And maybe Jin, though it's not clear whether he died before being resued and his body was brought back, or what.

Also, the crash bothered me too, the nose section should have flipped over several times and tumbled to the water/ground in many pieces. It's doubtful that anyone would survive that, and imposible for anyone to survive in the tail section. But that doesn't mean it's a bad show, it just means that like most people, the peson who created the crash sequence knew almost nothing about airplanes. ::)

some guys have a theory for the ben being on the streets can be explained by ben having a teleportation chamber in the basement of his house on the island or in another station on the island which explains why he had all the passports and how he could get off the island without being seen and it would also explain the polar bear being in middle of the desert and in the trailer they released before this season started with the rabbit that just randomly appears behind the chinese dude
i believe it could be somewhat true but you never know, considering lost will run until 2010 we never know what could happen...
