Visionary genius?
I've been watching large helpings of Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, Thunderbirds and Space 1999 lately.
An awful lot of the things Gerry predicted back in the late 60's seem to have come true in regards to computers and aviation technology. So genius?
Nah...
...just another variation of the "String Theory".....

LOL!!! That's one for your Top Ten, Pablo!!! :D
More seriously: The name drew me into this forum, which I rarely visit (except when on patrol as a lurking, ninja-like mod)... my frontal lobe was largely shaped by
Fireball XL5,
Thunderbirds,
Stingray, and all the other puppet space operas... fantastic!

Some may remember my first avatar...
I can't say much for Anderson as a prophet of high tech... those concepts had been bandied around since before WWII.
To me, he was more a genius of TV... nobody even came close to doing what that studio could do with puppets and models.
BTW, I have the entire
Thunderbirds series on DVD...

"F.A.B." !! ;D
