I'm crying!

It wasn't bad enough that Hollywood made one of the truly sh*t remakes of a great movie in The Italian Job but now they want to re-do The Long Good Friday?  ::) ::) ::)
Is there absolutely nobody in Hollywood with a brain? You CANNOT remake a classic movie like this. It is like letting Leonardo de Crapprio appear in some dodgy remake of a Shakespeare movie...... oh wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they determine they can make money doing it, they will.

Alas Hollywood has gone from making "Great classic movies you'll want to watch again" to "total rubbish that crawled out of a snails botty" of late. And remakes are the most dire thing ever! When will they remake "Casablanca" starring Jim Carey and Antonio Banderas (as the love interest)?

lmao, Romeo and Juliet is the most boring film I have ever watched, and I've watched a few in my day.

The Italian Job remake was kinda ok from a slow action point of view, but nothing on the original.

You just can't watch it without shouting in a Michael Cain accent....

You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!!!

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

No, the Independent Revolutionary's of America, they are a small band of brothers financed by Castro. Crocket and Tubbs Harold and Jeff drive about Miami in a Ferrari Daytona Jaguar 2.4 with Trudy Victoria in some revealing bit of designer wear on the back seat. A few "gawd blimeys govs" and "this monkey, ehs a right merchant banker, i am going to cut his f#cking jakobs off", a shoot out or two, a drug deal and an explosion, it will be just like th original.

I liked the new Romeo and Juliet ;D Never have seen the original though... The old italian job was way better though... even if the new one had Charlize Theron! :D ( Which is a big +)
