This is all over the news here in Miami, she died at the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Hotel in Hollywood, Florida, about 35 miles north of where I live.  

Cause of death is still unknown as of 6.30pm EST, there's also been no conjecturing as to why either, according to the news, the local police are being very tight lipped about this and may not release details for some time.  As usual, the media is crawling all over the place over this.

Before today, I didn't really know who she was except I had heard the name I guess on the news here and there, so can't comment on anything about her.

Alex I feel that anyone stupid enough to take drugs has everything they deserve coming to them! If you want to feel sympathy for people think of all those innocent children being killed in wars all around the world, not some self-centered idiot.
I feel sure that drugs and/or alcohol will be found in her system at the autopsy and will have played a part in her death.

Some of the happiest people I have ever met had virtually nothing ...... and they were  most generous with what little they had. It is very sad, I do feel sorry for her... but it's hardly some sort of National Tragedy or something. She really was a parasite, a large one that the parasitic gossip media fed on. A pretty disgusting arrangement all-around. The fact that that sort of "journalism" is such a huge business in this country- now THAT'S a national tragedy.   I'm sure most of the people who "love" her can't wait to see some stolen medical examiner photos of her corpse.

I never even found her attractive... put enough makeup and a blonde wig on a sow, park it on a barstool, and guys will look at it twice. She was just the product of a bunch of hype, no real sex appeal at all, IMHO.

And it's hardly surprising she died young... she was a big mess, and more than likely a magnet for all sorts of trouble. She either OD'd or got mixed up with the wrong people.

The one I really pity is her little girl... good luck to her.  :-/
