'......with flowers in my hair'

Does anybody else hate this song as much as I do?? I can't bear to listen to more than 5 seconds of it - in fact it's got so bad, that when it comes on the radio at work, I now go around switching all of the radios off for at least 4 minutes, whilst threatening impending violence if anybody turns the radio back on before the song has finished.

Awful, awful, awful :(

Yes.

Even though I have only heard it a few times. Whoever sings that song has the most irritating voice I have heard. (Even worse that James Blunt!!:-X)   :-/

& another thing - I've never ever seen a punk rocker with a flower in his/her hair...............& if the singer wants to be a punk rocker so much, then why isn't she singing a punk rock type song??

I figure that what she really wants to be is a hippy - to be honest, I probably have missed the point of the song, granted - but only because I can't bear to listen to it. :D

Your lack of imagination disappoints me. She is basically saying she was born too late. The Hippy or Punk generation is when she would have liked to grow up.

She became famous by way of webcasting from her basement flat in Tooting, just up the road from me...
Now everybody in Tooting knows her, mind you before she came along everybody in Tooting knew Jimmy White*
