In my honest opinion, the only thing Yamaha is good at making is dirtbikes. :) And keyboards.

Well, I use to play with a Jackson flying V with Floyd Rose bridge...and I must say that my new Yamaha is a better guitar....much better indeed....I also use to play with a Tagima Zero model, a Brazilian handmade guitar....and I think that this Yamaha have the same quality or better....I respect your oppinion since you guys in USA have much better options to choose...did you ever played with this Yamaha model?...I think its a new release...at least here in Brazil....but you can't compare with Gibson, Fender, ESP, Ibanez, Hammer, Carvin, Viggier and many others.... :)

I have owned the Jacksons, Kramers, Fenders and Gibsons, Ibenez...

and the Yamahas I had were the best, the only thing that I liked better was my Gibson LesPaul.

But for quaility, sound and feel not to mention price you can't beat a Yamaha, great instrument!
