Its a "modest little collection" the only problem is that even with 1500+ songs half the time I still can't find anything I wan't to listen to.

On my ipod I have 6594 songs, our library is actually larger but my woman has some country music crap in there that I would never put on my ipod.

Well not sure if your wanting just mp3 numbers or not but

My Music folder is a hard drive 130Gb of 200GB nothing but music.

500+ CDs which some have been ripped into mp3s (and many 2-5 disc sets counted as one.)

800 record albums (vynil) would like to convert to digital one day.

approx. 1100 cassettes

113 -8 tracks

250 -45rpm

for total minutes or days? well you can figure it out, but it adds up on almost a daily basis so you best start counting
About 30 years of collecting.

my main library has 16.4gb, being the library on my desktop computer.

my mobile library consists of 1.22gb of music, most of it downloaded from itunes and not found on my desktop.
