War of the Worlds Foghorn?

In War of the Worlds (the newest one), what's that sound the ships would make before they attacked?  I always thought it sounded like a foghorn.  I've been trying to find a download, but I'm having trouble just getting a search term!  Is there a way to rip it off the DVD perhaps?

Apparently it is indeed a Foghorn (albeit slightly edited).

would of answered this last night, but my computer went down.

Dataforge got it right saying that it is a foghorn, although its not been edited at all, its a distress signal that they use when being attacked. as for ripping the data off a dvd there are a few ways to do this. check your pm about this
