Munich

I highly recommend this movie. Very thought provoking. Just be warned it is 3 hours long and at times you start to notice it. Otherwise a very good movie.

Its well worth going to see even if you go alone. I know its not great option, but it's really a good movie.

Ah well. I'm off to work again tomorrow so I doubt I'll get to see it at the cinema. Though you never know, I might be able to find it showing in London somewhere later on in the year. If not, I'll get the DVD.

I agree, it was excellent-the directing was absolutely fantastic, it keeps you on the edge of your seat whether there's any real danger or not.

Like Craig said, I remember hearing audible groans when the movie didn't end after the first 2h45m.

Basically..

You've heard of the 1972 olympic game in Munich? 11 Israelian Athletes + some german police officers were killed by palestinian terrorists. Munich is about a group of well..."Cleaners" who were given the job to eliminate the ones responsible for those murders. Of course there is also a huge part filled with emotion in it.

Very interesting, but it doesn't mention anything about a group of assasins killing off those responsible for the deaths of the olympic hostages

The Israeli secret service, Mossad, formed a special unit that hunted down and killed two of the three surviving Munich terrorists

I cant go into the rest without spoiling the movie for others. However several things are finally explained at the end of the movie.
