The Drummer (Roger Taylor) went to the same secondary school as me. Legend has it that the careers master back then told him that he'd better get studying for a proper job because he would never make any money out of drumming.

The only Queen songs I like are Bohemian Rhapsody and Bicycle Race. Great band though.

I like all of them, but Don't Stop Me Now, Bohemian Rhapsody, Hammer To Fall and I Want To Break Free are my favourite Queen songs.

I liked Queen from the moment I heard their first record. They were refreshingly different & obviously very talented. Not so keen on the camp presentation & I would rather listen to them than watch but that's a matter of preference. Freddie Mercury was not only a talented performer, he was also a brilliant pianist & songwriter.

I was never so keen on the Bee Gees although they had many hit records over a long period of time. They apparently released several records in Australia before coming back to Britain to try their luck. (The three brothers were born on the Isle of Man. The Gibb family then moved to Manchester before emigrating to Australia in 1958 soon after Andy was born.) Robert Stigwood (an associate of Beatles manager Brian Epstein) gave them a 5 year contract on the same day they auditioned for him. They didn't adopt their well-known falsetto disco style until some time later. Discos hadn't been invented in 1967.
