The Boomtown Rats

Postby Boomtown Rat » Sat Nov 05, 2005 3:09 am

Personally, they're tied with Pink Floyd for my favorite band of all time.

Amazing band, I just wonder why they're so under appreciated, mostly in the US.

The only CD here I've actually found wasn't even released under their label, it was a "20th Century Masters" remastering of their tracks, and while it is good, if I wanted to get one of the Boomtown Rats remastered albums, which run about seven to six pounds in the UK, it would cost me $26.

Yep, I'm a true Boomtown Rats fan (even if I was born after they broke up), so I know what it's about.

The Brenda Ann Spencer [attempted] shooting at the school across the street from her house in San Diego, CA in 1979!
