Cold War songs...

Postby ATI_7500 » Sun Feb 22, 2004 3:39 am

Do you know any songs which are directly related to the Cold War?
I can only think of two:

Gary Moore - Nuclear Ataack

and

Billy Joel - Leningrad.

More of them out there?

I don't know about that but these are 2 of my favourite musicians. ;)

PS. I'm sure John Lennon must have done something.

How about "Back in the USSR". The Beatles skit on the Beach Boys. I always liked that. ;)

There must be loads. If I didn't know better then I would say The Wall. But I do know better, and thats got nothing to do with the Cold war.

I didn't hear the whole song but...I think "1999" from "Prince" is a cold war song. The words is something about dancing all night untill a bomb falls over my head.

The Pathfinder where you have to go blow up the Shilka's and take the village. I've got the sniper rifle and I always kill off all the guys in the second vilage but not before they kill all my troops and then I can't win when they are all dead. >:( >:( >:(

Edit: Never mind. Nothing a few stolen RPG's wont fix. ;D
