Man, if you're going to ask Beatles trivia around here, you'll have to do much better than that! ::)

What was the name of The Beatles before they were 'The Silver Beatles?"

What song was produced by Phil 'Wall of Sound' Spector?

Never had that album Kev.........but you may have been asking about James Coburn......

David Bowie = David Jones.....didn't want to become confused with Davy Jones of the Monkeys......!

Whats the real first name of Ginger Baker- Cream fame ?

Yeah,  I have a (I think) rare CD called 'The Yardbirds: The BBC Sessions' that has a bunch of old interviews with Clapton, Page, and Jeff Beck.  I really think that, to be perfectly honest, they started going downhill when Beck left.  Page and Beck where in the group at the same time, but his departure pretty much sealed it.

You missed where I was going with that one....when they considered the " New Yardbirds" for a name , post Clapton........it was said that, that name would go over like a " Lead Zeppelin "........Gee......imagine that !

Yeah, but Clapton was long gone before Jimmy Page showed up.  They actually considered Page first as a replacement, but Page turned them down in favor of solo work and recommended Jeff Beck.  I think that 'Lead Zepplin' story is an Urban Legend... :)

Sorry, Ken...

Oh, and BTW, Christopher Lee (Saruman in The Lord of the Rings) is on the cover of 'Band on the Run'  Can you name the other famous actor on the same cover?
