Growing up listening to pilots both commercial and private I find it so odd that there is such a huge online community for flying airliners. Here are the secrets to simulating flying a commercial flight!

For passenger:

Add a 3-4 hour wait (+12 hours for a possible delay)
Sit in the uncomfortable chair
Turn on a radio and set it to a dead channel to mimic the crap that comes out of the other passengers' mouths
Watch dull movies... Thrice
Drink all the free booze (asking for double or treble measures works well too!)
Wait for the loo for 10 minutes
Find working lavatory and wait again
Eat food
Watch film
Get in a fuss waiting for the bags to come through
Get rained on


I can't wait to go LHR to LAX in two weeks
