If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Wow! I've spent a lot of time around airplanes and I've never seen a bird hit a prop. It's pretty nasty, really.

The others are funny, except for the elephant. I feel sorry for the little guy. :P

I wonder if any *puddle jumpers* ever chewed a fish up in its props. I have seen some fish jump more than two feet out of water.. :)

That cowboy is screwed because his foot looks like it's caught in the reins. I feel sorry for the elephant also.

Cool pictures.

I had to "wash out" a mouse buzzard from the thrust reverser cascades of a 737-800 last year. Not something I could recommend as a pleasurable task. Imagine if you will, a large scale potato press and said bird :-/

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

For those of you feeling sorry for the Elephant ......... It got away. The still is from footage shown on a BBC wildlife programme, the mother realises it's calf is caught in the Croc's mouth and comes back to scare it off.

I like the look on the pups face. Looks like he's raising his eyebrows and with that smirk look he's thinking...sweet revenge! :)
