You're a lot closer to the dipsticks though. ::)

Not 'a lot' closer -- neither of us wants to walk the distance; however, you're still closer to where some of the more prominent ones came from... :)

I was unaware any of them qualified for being described as prominent. ::)

You are correct, Chicago is closer to me, by 138 miles. But you said Washington was not a lot closer to you. D.C. is 428 miles from you, 835 miles from me, a difference of 407 miles.

I'd call that almost twice as close. In any event, it is not likely that either of us will bump into one of those infamous dipsticks.

And I, for one, am eternally grateful for that little tidbit.

Washington is over 525 miles from me... don't push me closer than I need to be...  :D

We must be using different maps, or different rulers.
Or maybe you are measuring road miles, while I'm going as the crow flies. Just what Washington needs, more crows. ::)
[color=#003300]Just how in the world are you able to manage a flight on a crow?!? ;D

No self respecting turkey vulture will go anywhere near Washington. ::)
